Specific Regulations

Article 1. Organization
The Nationale Sluitingsprijs Putte-Kapellen is organized by Sportkomiteit Putte-Kapellen vzw, Albert-Louisastraat 4, 2950 Kapellen, under the regulations of the International Cycling Union. It is to be held on October 11th 2016 .

Article 2. Type of Race and UCIclassifications
The event is open to athletes of the Men Elite categories. The event is entered on the UCI Europe Tour calendar (Continental calendar) and is registered as a class 1.1 event. In conformity with the UCI rules, points are awarded as follows for the UCI Continental Men Elite ranking


Article 3. Participation
As per article 2.2.005 of the UCI regulations, the event is open to the following teams: U.C.I. Pro Teams , U.C.I. Professional Continental Teams, U.C.I. Continental Teams and National Teams.
As per article 2.2.003 of the UCI regulations, teams must be formed of minimum 5 and maximum 8 riders.

Article 4. Race headquarters
The race headquarters shall be open October 11Tth 2016 , from 9h00 till 11h00 and located at the following address: Den Biz, Eikendreef 3, B-2950 Kapellen.
Team representatives are requested to confirm their starters and collect their race numbers at the race headquarters from 16h00 to 17h00 on the 10 October 2016 .
The team managers' meeting, organized in accordance with article 1.2.087 of the UCI regulations, in the presence of the Members of the Commissars' Panel, is scheduled for 17h30 at  Den Biz, Eikendreef 3, B-2950 Kapellen.

Article 5. Radio-tour
Race information will be broadcast on the following frequency: 164.63125MHz . intern 168.596875-1

Article 6. Neutral technical support
The technical support service is handled by Team Shimano.

Article 7. Finishing time limits
Any rider finishing in a time exceeding that of the winner by more than 8% shall not be placed. The time limit may, in exceptional circumstances, be increased by the Commissars' Panel in agreement with the organizer.

Article 8. Prizes
The following prizes are awarded based on the price table for Men Elite 1.1 U.C.I.

A grand total of € 14.477 will be awarded in prize money at the event.

Article 10. Antidoping
The UCI antidoping regulations are entirely applicable to the event. Moreover, and in conformity with the law of Belgium , the Belgian antidoping legislation is applicable in addition to the UCI antidoping regulations .
The antidoping tests will take place at Kin. Paul Van Loon, Puttestraat 55, 2940 Stabroek-Putte.

Article 11. Awards ceremony
In accordance with article 1.2.112 of the UCI rules, the following riders must attend the official awards ceremony: The first three riders of the event
The riders will present themselves at the platform in a time limit of maximum 5 minutes after crossing the finish line.
The first three leaders of the three classements “Napoleon Cycling Cup”

Article 12. Penalties
The UCI penalty scale is the only one applicable.

Article  13. Press interview and Vip-protocol
The winner of the event and his manager will go to the press-room after the anti-doping tests.
